BALTICEXPO LLC is a leading exhibition organization in the Kaliningrad region.
International exhibition activities in Königsberg began in 1920, when the first German-Eastern Fair was organized. Later, a complex of structures was built on the territory of 8 hectares with a total area of 34 thousand m2 of covered premises.
Exhibitions were held annually until 1941. In the post-war years, in 1955, a new exhibition complex was built in Kaliningrad, but exhibitions of the achievements of the national economy were held only within the framework of the Kaliningrad region. At first, the subjects of the exhibitions had an agricultural focus. Gradually, all the achievements of the regional national economy began to be demonstrated at the exhibition.
With the beginning of economic reforms in the 90s, exhibition activity resumed as a tool for realizing the advantages of a free economic zone (FEZ). Exhibitions-fairs immediately acquired an international status, the initiators and organizers of the exhibitions were individual firms from Russia and abroad. By 1997, BALTIKEXPO OJSC took a leading place in the Kaliningrad region among the organizers of exhibitions.
Since 1995, the Exhibition Center has been a full member of the main organization of the Russian exhibition community – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.
BALTIKEXPO LLC currently organizes Russian and international exhibitions, presentations, seminars, conferences, auctions, annually holds exhibitions on its territory and is directly involved in the implementation of offsite exhibitions of manufacturers of Kaliningrad and the region in other regions of Russia and the world.
